Schumer signs free agent contract

Justin Schumer has signed a free agent contract with the San Francisco Giants, pending a physical. He has reported to Scottsdale for Rookie Ball and was told that he will be there for a couple of weeks before being sent to Low A in Augusta, GA.

Congrats to Schumer, adding another UNCA alum in professional baseball.
