John tied CJ Walker during the Radford game for 1st place all time at UNCA in blocked shots.. What an incredible accomplishment for someone who is 6'3".. If the refs hadn't absolutely blown the call on the block JW got on Big Art towards the end of the game he would be in sole possession of this record but he will surely get this record on the upcoming SC trip..

Just wanted to acknowledge what a great defensive player he has been for UNCA the past 4 years & he should end up 2nd in conference history beofre it's all said & done.. He has also done a great job of responding to early season adversity and doing his part to gel this young team into the team that they are becoming... Great Job John!!

You'd think I'd be used to how high he can jump by now, but at least three times per game I just find myself SMH.

(Just figured out what SMH means. Trying to use it as often as possible over the next few weeks.)

He's a great asset to have. Would be even better if his teammates would stop watching him and instead get in position to grab the rebound after he blocks a shot. Too many times it just drops right to an opponent and they lay it in uncontested.
