Matt Dickey named BSC Player of the Week

UNC Asheville guard Matt Dickey has been named the Big South Conference Player of the Week.
The 6-1 sophomore from Trussville, Ala., averaged 19 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 64.3 percent from the floor and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line in two wins last week.
Dickey had 12 points and two assists against High Point and matched his career high with 26 points and added five assists in a win against Radford.

Nicely done Matt.. he's been a scoring machine of late!! Almost unstopable when we run "Open" & he's driving from the middle of the court- he's also figured out that he doesn't have to always go too far in the lane when the defense steps up as I can't recall that last obvious charge that he had called on him which was a problem earlier in the year.. seems that injury has healed nicely & his quickness has returned!!
